Visit of Japanese delegation to Dholera SIR will encourage investments in sectors like Semiconductor and Display manufacturing. Officials of Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL) appraised the Japanese delegation about overall development of Greenfield Industrial Smart City- Dholera and the infrastructure facilities available their. CEO of Dholera Special Investment Regional Development Authority (DSIRDA) and Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL) ) Managing Director Mr. Supreet Singh Gulati also gave details of All-In-One platform and control center for various technologies and services covering areas like E-Governance, E-Health, E-Education, Safety and Security at the Dholera Industrial City.
Gujarat State Electronics Mission (GSEM) Mission Director Mr. Videh Khare attributed incentives given to businesses under the Semiconductor Policy by state government to set up a unit for Semiconductors in Dholera. Apart from being a model industrial smart city with a comprehensive approach to become a benchmark city for industrial and residential development, Dholera Semiconductor City is fully equipped to cater to needs of the Electronics and Semiconductor sector. Dholera is an ideal investment destination for these businesses as it has the potential to boost employment and the state’s tech landscape.
Members of Japanese delegation were taken on site visit to get a first-hand experience of the best infrastructure and potential being developed in Dholera. Mr. Supreet Singh Gulati, Managing Director of Dholera Industrial City Development Limited said that the visit of Japanese industry representatives will realize the goal of making Gujarat a leading state in Semiconductor and Display manufacturing.
Elaborating further to Japanese delegation, he said that with world-class plug-and-play infrastructure facilities and connectivity, Dholera SIR will provide an ideal industrial ecosystem for Japanese companies to expand their presence in India. With mega connectivity and city development projects, robust infrastructure, Dholera has become a prime location for large-scale for business and urban development and is emerging as a Multi Model Greenfield Industrial Smart City.
