Ahmedabad, October 1, 2023: Responding to the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modiji’s clarion call to hold a mega cleanliness drive to mark Gandhi Jayanti, the entire team of ITC Narmada on Sunday participated in ‘Shramdaan for Swachhta’. As part of the initiative, the entire stretch of the road from The First Building situated behind ITC Narmada in Ahmedabad, till the main road of Judges Bungalow Road outside the hotel, were cleaned by the team of ITC Narmada.
The associates including the hotel staff and executive staff participated in the initiative on Sunday morning at 9am. Besides removing dried leaves and dust and other litter from the road stretch, the team also undertook beautification of the space in the locality by washing footpaths, re-painting them and touching up the horticulture around these public spaces. Collective participation from the team at ITC Narmada was a true tribute to the Father of the Nation – Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, a day ahead of his birth anniversary on October 2.
