A meeting was held in Ahmedabad following meeting with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhuendra Patel at Gandhinagar at CM House.There was lot of anger among the Sanatan Dharma saints and mahants over this dispute, later the government intervened in mural dispute.
A closed-door meeting was held with Vadtal Swaminarayan saints at Finally Controversy over the Salangpur Hanumanji murals has come to an end. Controversial murals have been removed from under the idol of Hanumanji. After themeeting, Saints held a press conference and announced removal of the controversial murals.
Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi was also present in the meeting. An amicable resolution was worked out after a meeting between the Swaminarayan saints, VHP and saints at Sivananda Ashram in Ahmedabad, and the decision was finally taken to remove both the disputed paintings from the temple premises.
