Education Review Center (Vidhya Samiksha Kendra) of Gujarat to be established 100 countries says World Bank

Education Review Center (Vidhya Samiksha Kendra) – a High level delegation on Gujarat to  Global World Bank visited Education Review Center

“We have not seen use of Advanced Technology like Vidhya Samiksha Kendra even in developed countries. Prime Minister of India’s vision of  Vidhya Samiksha Kendra model will be followed in more than 100 countries.” said Harold Tavares, Executive Director of World Bank.

“We saw the vision of Prime Minister of India at the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra in Gujarat. Which will be followed from Gujarat to India and from India now to the entire world. We have not seen the sophisticated technology and its use in education field which we have seen at the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra, even in developed countries. For this I congratulate Prime Minister of India and the Chief Minister of Gujarat. The World Bank has always believed in joint ventures and partnerships. The partnership with Gujarat gave us an opportunity to study the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra today. Now we will work to create a system like the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra in all  100 countries we represent.” Stated Harold Tavares, Executive Director of  World Bank. “We have all the Executive Directors of the World Bank on a Study Tour to India. Our President Mr. Ajay Banga and USA United States of America Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen visited the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra.

 A team of Executive Directors representing 100 countries have visited the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra to learn more about it.” – Parameswaran Iyer, IAS, Executive Director, India, World Bank, Ajay Banga, President, World Bank and Janet Yellen, Secretary Treasury, United States of America visited the  Vidya Samiksha Kendra. President Ajay Banga said that the Vidya Samiksha Kendra is an exemplary model for other states of India and other countries of the world.

World Bank delegates representing 100 countries of the world visited Gandhinagar today, to establish similar model of Vidya Samiksha Kendra in other countries of the world. In the delegation, World Bank Executive Directors from China, Brazil, UK, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Tanzania, Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria were available. Most of the states in India are making efforts to establish Vidya Samiksha Kendra to improve educational quality. There is a shortage of Credible Data at Global Level, Real-Time Online Monitoring and meaningful Analysis of Credible Data is done through Vidya Samiksha Kendra. Information was obtained about the education transformational journey of the last two decades of Gujarat, which started with inspiration and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The delegates got entire details of Gujarat’s ambitious project Mission Schools of Excellence. All the delegates collected latest information on school education through live Real-Time Attendance, Assessment and School Accreditation Dashboards and interacted with students, teachers and parents. They  had detailed information about  benefits of the Vidya Samiksha Kendra and the current reforms to students, parents and teachers. The Vidya Samiksha Kendra of Gujarat will become a global model for reliable and trustworthy data in  near future, which will play an important role in improving the quality of schooling across the world.
