Today morning incident of big fire reported in ahmedabad city. Four out of five members of the family in house were rescued but a 15-years-old girl named Pranjal alias Prachi got caught in fire in a room. Massive fire broke out on seventh floor of a flat in Ahmedabad’s Shahibaug area. Teenage girl was severely burnt in the fire who died during treatment. Four members of the family were brought out. As soon as the incident was reported, the fire brigade teams reached the spot and took rescue action. Cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
15 vehlcles of fire brigade, an ambulance were dispatched to the spot where a fire broke out on seventh floor of the flat around 7 am today morning. As 15-years-old Pranjal aka Prachi got caught in the fire and got seriously burnt, fire brigade team immediately reached the spot and with rescue cubicle they started water cannon and started trying to douse the fire. Four out of five members of the family in the house had left but in one of the rooms, a 15-years-old girl named Pranjal alias Prachi got trapped in the fire. So the fire brigade personnel started the exercise to save them. Prachi was severely burnt in the fire. She was shifted to the hospital for treatment where Prachi died during the treatment. Two firemen reached the seventh floor by hanging from a rope. According to sources, on learning that 15-years-old Pranjal was trapped on the seventh floor, the fire brigade personnel reached eighth floor and from there tied a rope and two fire brigade reached seventh floor to extinguish the fire. Door was broken and Pranjal was taken out who was trapped in fire.
