Vadodara has now become a major drug manufacturing hub. There has been a big revelation about drugs factory found in Sindhrot village. ATS Anti-Terrorism Squad Gujarat has seized another drugs laboratory from Sayajiganj. Out of which 100 kg of drugs was packed in 2 drums have been seized.
According to information received, a drug business running from Payal Complex in Sayajiganj, Vadodara has been caught. Sayajiganj’s drugs are linked to the Sindhrot factory.
Two Plastic Barrels of drugs were seized from a share broker’s office. This drug business was running openly on three different floors of the building of Payal Complex. A mini laboratory was bustling on one floor, while raw materials and finished drugs were stored in offices on the other two floors. Police investigation revealed that managers started the factory in Sindhrot village after Sayajiganj. Recently, drugs worth Rs 100 crores were seized from Sayajiganj area.
During the remand of the accused, ATS has got a big success in finding more drugs. The drugs found in the Payal complex were strong. In the 500 crore drug case seized from Sindhrot, the accused was searched by the ATS in the Payal complex of Sayajiganj area, in which two drums were found. Due to the strong chemical found in the Payal complex, the investigating officers also suffered eye and nose irritation.
The ATS conducted an investigation at the locations indicated by the accused regarding the investigation of drugs worth Rs. 500 crore seized from Sindhrot. ATS reached Payal Complex in Sayajiganj area with the main accused. Where Waplo was found to be running in the closed stock market office for the last 10 years. A large quantity of the suspected chemical was also found at Payal Complex. An investigation was conducted along with a team of FSL,Forensic Science Laboratory local police.
In the investigation, drugs were found in 2 plastic drums. So 2 days ago, drugs worth Rs 8 crores were found in the garbage bin in Subhanpura area. Drugs were thrown in dust bin on arrival at ATS at the place indicated by accused. At present, more than 12 officers of the ATS are being intensively investigated. Similarly, ATS team accompanied the accused and two barrels of red (Kerba) suspicious chemical was seized by ATS from the stock market office. Vadodara city is gradually becoming a hub for manufacturing MD drugs, like Moxi village in Savli, a factory for manufacturing large quantities of MD drugs. Also MD Drugs and Chemicals were raided and seized by ATS. Subsequently, a factory manufacturing MD drugs has been seized in the name of putting fodder in a godown on the outskirts of Sindhrot. In which more than Rs 500 crores worth of goods were expedited through ATS. When MD seized in Sindhrot, while investigating the case of drugs along with the accused, reached closed stock market godown of Payal Complex in Sayajiganj area. Two barrels filled with pearl chemicals were recovered from the godown, and further investigations are expected to lead to the discovery of more chemicals.
