Today on second day of ‘Regional Election Committee’ meeting began at Gandhinagar Region Office ‘Kamalam’ led by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah accompanied by State President CR Patil and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. On this occasion, State Joint Incharge Sudhir Gupta, State Organization General Secretary Ratnakar, Union Minister Parshottam Rupala, Mansukh Mandaviya and other members of State Election Committee were present.
In Gandhinagar, 3 days of ‘Regional Election Committee’ have started in Kamalam. Today is the second day of state BJP election committee meeting. A panel of three contenders per seat will be formed under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah for Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022. In which the names of the contenders will be discussed in coordination meeting according to the district. Today, all the leaders of Gujarat will be present in the meeting of coordination committee of BJP. In coordination meeting all the contenders will be discussed and important names from the contenders will be sent to the Parliamentary Board.
In the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, there will be brainstorming for district meetings in the Parliamentary Board and the meetings will start from 10 am. The names of the candidates will be discussed one by one for each seat. The inspectors and district leaders will list the names with the census process. Today is the second day of the state BJP election committee meeting. In presence of Amit Shah at Gandhinagar Kamalam, debate will take place today on 58 seats. In which there will be debate on 5 seats in Gandhinagar, 7 in Mehsana, 5 in Amreli and 2 in Botad. Apart from this, 5 seats in Ahmedabad district, 7 in Bhavnagar, 6 in Kheda, 5 in Panchmahal, 4 in Navsari, 5 in Bharuch, 5 in Jamnagar will be contested.
