Ahmedabad, June 6, 2022: The World Environment Day is observed on June 5 every year as a measure of creating awareness and calling for action for environment conservation. Marking the day, students of Kalorex Group-run Delhi Public School (DPS) – Bopal in Ahmedabad, participated in a series of team activities.
Students through their various initiatives highlighted the urgent need to give the environment, sustainable living and development, the highest priority. Teachers, administrative staff and green warriors at DPS Bopal enthusiastically participated in activities ranging from writing slogans to making posters on the theme ‘Only One Earth’.
A tree plantation and nurturing activity was also planned for each of them to let them experience nurturing of the environment around them. Authorities of DPS Bopal also made efforts to create awareness on environmental issues by organizing a live webinar on the school’s Facebook page, as part of which the speaker shared simple suggestions to alter one’s way of living to save the environment.
