In a big success in drugs seizure via sea route today it was informed by Defense PRO Gujarat that Indian Coast Guard, in a joint operation with Gujarat ATS Anti Terror Squad, has apprehended a Pakistani fishing boat ‘Al Huseini’ with 6 crew members from Indian waters carrying 77 kilograms of heroin worth approximately Rs 400 crores.
From Indian waters 6 Pakistanis arrested from Jakhau sea. The operation, which has been going on for 3 days from Indian waters near the Indo-Pak international waters, has long been taking drugs to Europe via the Iran-Pakistan route after the Taliban arrived in Afghanistan near Jakhau.
The Boat was brought to Jakhau for further investigation by agencies.
