Recently, new Gujarat government has been changed and new government has now started taking important decisions. A new order has been issued for the top officials in today’s cabinet meeting. Elaborating on the decision taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to make state administration more effective, state government spokesperson and state revenue and law minister Rajendra Trivedi said that MLAs and citizens from distant areas of state should come to Gandhinagar to represent their queries.
On Mondays and Tuesdays, all ministers and officials of all departments are required to be present in their office and meet visitors.
MLAs have listen to people Because of this decision, even legislators now have to understand that there is no freedom without working on issues of people. The work of the people raised from the interior part of state to Gandhinagar has to be given high priority and they have to work as a public servant of people.
Officials will respectfully call and listen to MLAs
Rajendra Trivedi said that when MLAs go to officials for representations on Mondays and Tuesdays, the officials will not let them sit outside and will immediately call them inside respectfully and listen to their representations. Habit of make waiting outside the office will end He said that in the past it has been noticed that when legislators went to officers of concerned department for their representation, officers kept them wait outside. So now when legislators go to department officials for their representations on Mondays and Tuesdays, officials will have to respectfully call them easily and not make them sit outside their office. From now on, legislators will be able to enter the chamber of officers directly for their representations. This decision will suffice Monday and Tuesday The decision is only for Mondays and Tuesdays, rest of the days will have to make an appointment to visit department officials. These instructions have to be strictly followed.
Citizens coming from interior part have to be given time
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has taken an important decision in the first cabinet meeting for the facilitation of people. Accordingly, ordinary citizens coming from far flung villages or hinterlands of state Secretariat for their work, representations will have to be allotted time for visits by state ministers and officials on Mondays and Tuesdays. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has asked the ministers and officials avoid any meetings, meetings or other programs during these two days (Monday and Tuesday).
Instructions to implement the decision with immediate effect
Elaborating further on Gujarat CM’s decision, Gujarat Revenue and Law Minister Rajendra Trivedi and Education Minister Jitu Vaghani said that Chief Minister Bhupendra in public interest allowed ordinary citizens can meet in their office all day if the state ministers and officials are not busy in meetings and other events. It will be now easy for citizens to meet ministers and officials for their work. Bhupendra Patel has given instructions to implement this decision with immediate effect.
