Today in Gandhinagar, important decisions have been taken in the core committee meeting chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Some restrictions will be relaxed from 6 am on June 11, 2021. These restrictions have been relaxed from June 11 to June 26 at 6 am.
Restaurant and hotel will be able to continue during this period from 11 June 2021 to 26 June from 9 am to 7 pm with 50% of its seating capacity. Takeaways will be available until 9 pm and home delivery until 12 pm.
Apart from this, night curfew will be enforced from June 11 from 9 pm to 6 am. This will be effective until June 26, 2021. All shops, commercial units, lorries, shopping complexes, market yards, hair cutting salons, beauty parlors as well as other commercial activities can be continued from 9 am to 7 pm during this period i.e. the existing time limit has been extended by 1 hour.
Library with 50 % of its seating capacity and the Gardens will be open from 6 am to 7 pm during this period. Gymnasium will be able to continue with 50% capacity during this period and compliance with SOP will be required.
The Chief Minister has also given permission to conduct these examinations in compliance with the SOP keeping in view the interest of students of state who have to appear for the examinations required for foreign studies like IELTS , TOEFL etc.
