Today Congress delegation led by Rahul Gandhi, Leaders of the Party in Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha and Senior Party members & MPs will assemble at Vijay Chawk at 10:45 am , will proceed to meet the President of India at 11:30 am.
Section 144 has been imposed outside congress Headquarter in Delhi at 24 Akbar Road. Only Rahul Gandhi was allowed to meet President Ramnath Kovind.
Rahul met the President today and submitted a memorandum reportedly signed by 2 crore farmers against the new laws. Party leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury were also part of the delegation.
Other partymen including Priyanka Gandhi were detained trying to march to Rashtrapati Bhavan.
