Former Delhi chief minister and Congress leader Sheila Dikshit passed away Saturday at a private hospital here, her family and the party said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi , President of India Ramnath Kovind and Congress leaders including president Rahul Gandhi paid their tribute to Sheila Dikshit.
She was 81.
She was admitted to Escorts hospital a few days ago.
She breathed her last around 3.55 p.m.
