Narendra Modi during day long visit to Gujarat launched various developmental projects
Today during one visit to Gujarat Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi launched various programmes.
PM Modi in Valsad, witnessed collective e-Gruhpravesh of beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin). Also distributed skill certificates and employment letters to beneficiaries under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana.
PM inaugurates multiple development projects at Junagadh, Gujarat
PM dedicated 9 initiatives worth over Rs 500 crores to the nation or their foundation stones are being laid.
He addressed the people and said that there is new energy and vibrancy in India’s development journey. In Gujarat, there is a constant effort to ensure adequate water reaches every part of the state. We are also working towards water conservation. Medical colleges and hospitals are coming up across Gujarat, not only helping patients but also those who want to study medicine.
The Government of India has started Jan Aushadhi stores, which is reducing the prices of medicines.
Modi further stated that it is important that the poor and the middle class gets access to affordable medicines.The Government’s emphasis in cleanliness is being universally appreciated. The importance to cleanliness is important because a Clean India ensures people do not suffer from diseases. The health sector requires good doctors, paramedical staff. We also want medical instruments to be made in India. The sector must also keep pace with the technological advancements globally.
The coming of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana- Ayushman Bharat will transform the health sector and ensure the poor get top class healthcare and that too at affordable prices.
In the evening, PM attends convocation of the GSFU Gujarat Forensic Science University 2018. PM handed over medals to meritorious students at the University.
