Multi crore scam in PM Awas Yojna and Toilet scheme
A Multi crore scam in the name of Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojna and toilets. Based on a farmer’s complaint, Valsad, Dang and Navsari police jointly raided a house in Navsari. The police arrested NGO Chief and seized some objectionable documents.
According to the details, the police conducted an investigation in the house of Ankit Mehta, Shakti Mandal NGO’s chief in Crystal Lakshia-B. Also NGO lady manager Bhaveshri Davda was arrested. Police found many important documents, ATM cards and cheque books from their home. The police has seized 2 laptops, 1 tablet, 8 mobile phones, 3 pen drives, different rubber stamps and a Visiting Card from the accused Ankit Mehta and Bhaveshriri Davda’s house.
The scandal is said to be of Rs 200 crores.
Bhaveshri is working for NGO. She alleged to media that in the scandal Dang Collector BK Kumar, Bharat Dange and ACS Home are involved. Daughter of Dang Collector is working in a private company, who has extracted lot of money from NGO and when NGO stopped giving money to company where daughter of Dang Collector was working a joint conspiracy was formed by all officials against the NGO blamed Davda.
Bhaveshri added that she was beaten by police and arrested even when police did not have arrested warrant.
Lady from NGO is said to misuse funds granted to beneficiars with signatures on blank papers.
