Rs 9,000 crores bank loan defaulter Bhadresh Mehta arrested by ATS Gujarat
Today in Ahmedabad, ATS arrested Bhadresh Mehta in Rs 9,000 crores bank loan default case.
He is considered to be a big shot in cotton industry and has his firm Bhadresh Cotton Industries. He has taken loan from Union Bank.
Case against Bhadresh Mehta has been lodged in Dehgam police station.
Mehta also cheated a builder of Dehgam for Rs 20 crores. The builder has filed complaint against Bhadresh.
Mehta is a defaulter for Rs 1,100 crores loan from different banks, CID is investigating the matter.
On a tip of Mehta hiding in Dehgam, he was arrested by ATS Ahmedabad and process of handing over of his custody to CID has been initiated.
