1000 kg of harmful ice destroyed by health team in Vadodara

Today in Vadodara, 3 teams of Health department of Vadodara Municipal Corporation raids at ice factories in Makarpura, Pratapnagar and Fatehpura areas.

Health depart raids to check on amount of chlorination in the ice.

1000 kg of Harmful ice was destroyed as inadequate amount of chlorination was found in the ice.

Sample of harmful ice was taken by health team and a chemical was added on it by which turned ice turned yellow indicating bad ice for consumption.

Generally people use such ice without knowing its harmful effect on their health.
