Supreme Court refuses to stay application of NOTA in Gujarat elections for Rajya Sabha seats
Today Supreme Court refuses to stay application of NOTA in elections to 3 Rajya Sabha seats in Gujarat to be held on August 8.
There is a fierce fight between BJP Bhartiya Janta Party and Congress over one seat on which Congress Rajya Sabha MP Member of Parliament Ahmed Patel is contesting.
44 Congress MLAs from Gujarat are in Karnataka resort to prevent form horse trading . Both the parties are checking legality of NATO,None Of The Above, provisions and its impact in getting RS seat for them.
Elections for 3 RS Rajya Sabha seats of Gujarat will be held on 8th August for members whose term completes on 18th August.
3 RS members Ahmed Patel (Congress) ,Smriti Irani (BJP) and Dilip Pandya (BJP) would be in fray.
Recently Balwantsinh Rajput was also nominated for RS seat. Balwantsinh left Congress and joined BJP.
