Today in Ahmedabad, resident doctors of Civil Hospital turned up in big groups and protested against the decision by as per the amendments by regulations of MCI Medical Council of India of common counseling for under graduate and post graduate medical students to medical courses.
Ahmedabad doctors were supported by resident doctors of Gandhinagar in protest against decision by MCI.
However, resident doctors of Vadodara welcomed the decision of MCI about common counseling.
There were two groups splitting over decision of MCI. Protest by doctors was called off.
