Today morning at 7:30 am in Ahmedabad, one girl staying at Pratiksha Apartment committed suicide by setting herself on fire by pouring kerosine on herself. Victim girl Geeta, age 20 left her house in the morning saying that she is going out to buy bread. After sometime her father got news of Geeta burning herself in front of lover’s house.
Lover’s family has not given any reaction to media.
She burnt herself in front of a guy whom she loved. The boy had cut relation with her for past 15 days and stopped talking to her.
Geeta had warned the boy that if you will not keep relation with me I will end up myself by jumping from your terrace.
Her deadbody was taken to Sola Civil Hopsital for post mortem and body will be later handed over to her family.
Ghatlodia police has started investigation by registering case of accidental death. Police is investiating whether girl had left any suicide note or her mobile conversation with boy, since when they were in contact with each other or there was any other reason for her suicide.
