Today in Ahmedabad, union Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani visits Nirma University to inaugurate PRAVEG 2016 event. In a unique initiative PRAVEG 2016 is aimed at spreading awareness about the Indian Army for motivating youths of Gujarat to join the armed forces. The Nirma University has joined hands with the Indian Army’s Golden Katar Division to organize `Know Your Army’ show on its campus on Monday and Tuesday. Arms and Ammunition used by Army is put on display at the University. Indian Army will brief about the arms used by them. In a 2 long event students from 40 Universities and colleges will participate.
