In Ahmedabad, a shameful case on doctor profession has come up. with a doctor raping young girl of age 21 years admitted in ICU to Apollo hospitals for the treatment of Dengue. Accused doctor Ramesh Chauhan has been arrested by Adalaj Police. The doctor a resident of Pakistan. She said the 28 year old doctor Ramesh Chauhan and a hospital wordboy attacked her on Sunday during the night shift. The doctor and the wordboy, Chandrakant, drugged her before assaulting her so that she could not fight back, she alleged.From medical report rape was confirmed Rape case was registered against Dr. Chauhan and Chandrakant under Section 376 of IPC by police. Victim girl is a student living in a hostel at Gandhinagar.The girl after gaining consciousness, realised that she had been physically violated. she did not complainded immediately but she informed her father that she had been sexually assaulted. Her father complained to the police. The police checked the CCTV footage of hospital and the doctor and the ward boy’s statements were taken after the complaint was registered.
