On 9th of August, in Vadodara of Gujarat , NCB Narcotics Control Bureau team raided the house and offices of Dolphin Pharma, where around 9 lakh tablets of psychotropics substances which was stored illegally, were seized. Market value in Europe and USA of these psychotropic substances is around Rs 50 crores. Anil Luhar the director of Dolphin Pharma and Zahid Shekh , manager were arrested on 10th August. During interrogation it was revealed that some of the psychotropic substances were illegally bought from KC Pharma, an Andheri based firm of Mumbai , a team from Ahmedabad NCB did follow up operation in Mumbai with the NCB Mumbai market value of psychotropic substance around Rs 60 crores . Director of KC Pharma, Krishan Chaudhry and Manager Murugan were arrested and brought to Varoda and presented before Sessions Court. Later accused were sent to jail . Investigation of modus operandi and linkage within india and outside india is going on and more arrests are expected in future in the case.
