Today Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel chaired a meeting to appraise Team Gujarat on Shala Praveshotsav and Kanya Kelavani 2016 an attempt to Transform Education in the state. The initiative will be held this year from June 8 to 10 in rural areas and June 15 to 17 in urban areas. Team Gujarat will once again visit villages/towns/cities to make sure no child is deprived of education.
Talking at the occasion CM instructed officials to also review quality of secondary education in schools they visit during asked them to encourage students to store rainwater in schools which can later be used for various purposes during the year. Expressed that initiatives for education and malnutrition-health will have to be carried out in proper coordination to achieve effective results.
