Citizens willing to plant trees at their residence or nearby place can SMS their address, number of plants needed and variety of plant to mobile numbers 9727760023 or 9727760025. The garden department team of AMC will arrive at your doorstep and plant the tree. You need to maintain that tree later on. The varieties plants offered by the AMC include Gul Mahoar, Peltophorum, Saptaparni, Kanji, Kachnar, Kashid, Vad, Pipal, Piplo, Borsalli, Garmalo etc. The AMC has launched this initiative to ensure plantation of maximum trees during upcoming period of monsoon.
