The teaser poster of ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, starring Sushant Singh Rajput as India’s World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is revealed today. Sushant took to Twitter to unveil the poster.

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, which has been shot extensively in Ranchi, also features veteran actor Anupam Kher, who will be seen playing Dhoni’s father Pan Singh. One-film-old actress Kiara Advani will be portraying Dhoni’s wife Sakshi.
The biopic MS Dhoni had been delayed since the script was reworked to include recent developments in his life, including his Test retirement in 2014 and birth of his daughter last year. However, buzz is that ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ will not include any of these events; the film will end with the 2011 World Cup victory. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is slated to release on September 2, 2016.
