Today in Ahmedabad, 5th convocation of GTU Gujarat Technological University was held. During convocation ceremony 4300 students were awarded degrees. Gujarat Governor Om Prakash Kohli inaugurated the convocation ceremony. Dr Akshay Agarwal Vice Chancellor of GTU while speaking at the occasion that technology has transformed our lives. Also, VC updated on corroborative projects with DRDO using wireless internet technology and research knowhow.

GTU of Ahmedabad is a State-wide institution which has 486 engineering, architecture, pharmacy, and management colleges affiliated with it. GTU caters to the needs of more than 4,50,000 students and 17,000 professors.
