In Gujarat during Uttarayan Festival with celebration some bad incidents and accidents also take place like people meeting accident on vehicles due to cut to kite thread and falling from gallery, terrace, getting electrocuted etc.
Today till 1 pm, yearly statistics of emergency calls on 108 Ambulance by GVK EMRI, in comparision last year 14 Jan 2015, 1247 vehicles were assigned whereas this year on 14 Jan 2016, 1333 vehicles were assigned with 87 more calls received by Ambulance.
Total calls in Gujarat 1690 with 343 from Ahmedabad , 135 from Surat, 103 from Baroda and 106 from Rajkot, as per EMRI.
