Today, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel took a decision of protecting nearly 6000 trees in Gandhinagar.
There was a proposal to convert road between Coba to Gandhinagar as 4 track road due to movement of VVIPs visiting capital city of Gujarat during state’s official events, International Tourism, Vibrant Gujarat like events involving foreign delegates and VVIPs passing from the road through Koba to Gandhinagar.
For protection of lush green environment capital city Ganhinagar and showing her admiration for environmental protection, Gujarat CM turned down the proposal to convert the road into a 4 track VVIP road at the cost of axing 6000 trees.
