He has never cared who his heroine was. In fact, in Rockstar, Imtiaz cast a completely out-of-depth Nargis Fakhri with Ranbir. Now, his next will feature Ranbir with Alia for the first time.
Imtiaz is all set to cast Alia and Ranbir together hoping that the fresh pairing would impress there fans. After Rockstar and Tamasha, this will be Ranbir and Imtiaz’s third film together. Incidentally, Ranbir’s best friend Ayan Mukerji has cast Ranbir-Alia in his superhero film. We just hope that Alia becomes his lucky charm and their fresh onscreen pairing works in his favour and he finally delivers a blockbuster hit. As for Alia, her previous movie Shaandaar with Shahid Kapoor was a major disaster. Let’s hope her pairing with Ranbir works wonders for the movie.
