Today in Gir Somnath, one lion cub was saved in Ratidhar village . The cub had fallen in a water filled well.
Staff of Forest Department saved the cub by lifting him in a bed tied from 4 sides by rope was dropped to rescue the cub. After hours of waiting cub was finally saved. Great job by Forest staff as lion is endangered species.
The well was owned by localite Pragjibhai Kalsariya.
