Today a group of 150 foreigners from European countries visited Porbandar, birth place of Mahatma Gandhi. Foreigners visited very famous Kirti Mandir, which a memorial temple built in memory of Gandhiji and Kasturba located in Porbandar, Gujarat.
The ancestral house of Gandhi family, where Gandhiji was born on 2 October 1869 is adjacent to the Kirti Mandir.
Foreigners were impressed with Gandhian life style and his philosophy.
Special arrangements of Auto Rickshaws were made for aged foreigners totake them to Kirti Mandir.
All arrangements were made by Tourism Department of Gujarat Government as part of visit to heritage site in Gujarat.
