Star cricketer Harbhajan Singh is going is all set to marry his long time sweetheart and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra on October 29 in Punjab, putting speculation to rest. Sources says It is going to be a big fat Punjabi wedding. The couple is extremely excited as they are all set to enter the holy bond of matrimony. The wedding is supposed to be full on Bollywood style, replete with complete dance, drama and masti. It will be an elaborate five day affair and only family and close friends are invited for the do.
The celebrations will comprise choora ceremony, nuptials and sangeet. The reception will take place on November 1 in Delhi and all players from the Indian cricket team are expected to attend the same. Harbhajan has planned it in such a way that it coincides with the short break of the forthcoming India-South Africa series. Though the couple has roped in two Mumbai based designers for their wedding trousseau, they do not have any pre or post wedding bashes planned in the city. A source revealed to a daily, “It’s going to be a family affair. The couple believes that the wedding shouldn’t be a dikhava so the invitations will be limited to close friends only.” The source later told the daily that Geeta’s family will soon come to India from London and that the wedding preparations will begin soon.
