Piyush Goyal:”Congress hampered parliamentary process in monsoon session on trivial issues” in Ahmedabad

Today, union minister Piyush Goyal was in Ahmedabad. Goyal interacted with media and replied their questions, he also talked about his reason of coming to the city.

Goyal started his talk by saying that recently we have completed 3 weeks long monsoon session of Parliament, where in we could not pass any important bill like GST due to unwanted protest by Congress on trivial issues. GST bill is constitutional bill to be jointly passed. Congress’ behavior with Parliamentary Speaker and Chairman is condemnable.

He added that actually Congress is unable to digest its defeat of 2014 and trying to raise objections in Rajya Sabha on matter which keeps people of nation away from the progress. Congress wants people of India to remain away from growth. Goyal said we have means to further our work, but because of unwanted obstacles from Congress our govt is not able to move further at the pace by which it wants to. Actually people of India have said goodbye to Congress and shown their decision and shown complete faith in our PM Modiji. PM wants to give sustainable growth to this country.

Congress even after 68 years of rule is unable to provide basic amenity of electricity to all parts of the country. People did not elect corrupt government.

Modiji has given schemes like PM Jan Dhan Yojna, Atal Pension Yojna. NDA govt has raised minimum pension to Rs 1000 from earlier Rs 300.  Our govt has generated revenues of Rs 3 lakh crores from coal block autions and Rs 1 lakh from 2G spectrum auctions.

He added that like me other ministers have gone to other parts of India to make people aware about obstacles created by Congress in Parliamentary process.
