Gujarat state is facing pressing demand by Patidar community under OBC quota. Rally and protests are being made at various places in Gujarat. Patidar community appears to be in non comprimising mood.
There is a directive of Supreme Court for reservation quota limiting to 50 % in state. In Gujarat already reserved quota has been alloted to scheduled caste and tribe, in such a situation for ruling government it is a complex problem when Swaraj polls in the state are approaching very close.
However, government has for the first time invited Patidar to have a dialogue on the issue. A meeting between district Patidar leaders and senior state leaders is likely, as per sources.
