Realising benefits of Yoga our Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced International Yoga Day in India at his UN address in USA last year.
In capital city Delhi International Yoga Day will be celebrated on June 21, where in many students, localites, ministers and foreigners will take part in it.
Today in Ahmedabad, Bhupendrasinh Chudasama Education Minister briefed about Yoga Day celebration on June 21 in Gujarat. Minister Chudasama informed that in Ahmedabad at GMDC ground, in Rajkot at Race Course, in Bharuch at Narmada Park, in Gandhinagar at Mahatma Mandir, in Porbandar at Chowpati walk Way and at all district places Yoga Day will be celebarted.
During June 7 to 14, for a week, 39000 master trainers will provide training on Yoga. Instructors from Art of Living, Patanjali Yoga Centers, Lakulesh Yog University, BAPS Swaminarayan, Brahmakumaris and SAG have been invited. In addition school-college-ITI students, NGOs and professional Yoga Institutes also have been invited to participate.
Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will also organise Yoga celebration at Riverfront, Kankaria and CG Road by skaters. Yoga actovities at 114 public gardens and 228 schools will be held.
500 boats will be decorated on “Yoga On The River” theme at historical brideg of Bharuch.
