Amit Patel 28-yeared- Indian-American businessman, who was gunned down by an unidentified assailant in his family-owned liquor shop in the US, who died due to injuries, the police range,as per police.Amit Patel from Edison was shot dead in New Jersey inside Roseway Liquors in Irvington. Patel was alone in the liquor store owned by his father when the assailant shot at him at close range.The victim got married only a year ago.There was no damage to the store or indication of a break in and only one shot was fired. When the police arrived at the store, they found Patel bleeding from a gunshot wound. He was later declared dead. Amit’s father was in the back office when the shooting took place. “Somebody came in, shot him… he fell down here,” as per family friend. CCTV footage will be examined for any clues in the case.
