Kangana Ranaut, who has banned award shows, made it a point to attend the Filmfare success party of Queen, thrown by director Vikas Bahl. The 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards, which were held in Mumbai on January 31 and will be aired on television tonight, honoured actress Kangana Ranaut with the Best Actress honour for her role in Vikas Bahl’s Queen.Film Queen won awards in six different categories as Best Director award for Vikas Bahl, Best Film, Best Background Score, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best actress.
Kangana celebrated the success of the film with a grand party in the company of a bevy of Bollywood stars. Kangana, who rocked a scarlet Tom Ford sequined outfit with a dramatic make-up and knee-length boots, was all smiles at the party. Actor Shahid Kapoor, who was honoured with the Best Actor Filmfare for Haider and actress Alia Bhatt, who won the Best Actress (Critics) award for Highway, kept it casual for the party. Actresses Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi made heads turn at the gathering. Tabu looked ravishing in a Malini Ramani outfit. Ek Villain actor Sidharth Malhotra looked dapper in a black shirt and blue jeans. Actress Preity Zinta was spotted in a blue floral printed dress. Others in attendance for the party include Ekta Kapoor, Anurag Kashyap, Manish Malhotra, Sanjay Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Sajid Nadiadwala.Kangana will next be seen with R Madhavan in Tanu Weds Manu 2, which is a sequel to the blockbuster Tanu Weds Manu.
