Today, Union External Affairs Minister Sushma swaraj inaugurated 13th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Gandhinagar , Gujarat. While speaking at PBD celeberation and addressing youth of the nation Sushma emphasized on need for Cleanliness, youth participation and Make In India drive.
She appealed Young global Indians, come, connect, celebrate and be a part of our initiative to build ‘ek Bharat shrestha Bharat’. Even though situated 1000 miles away, you have kept the spirit of Bharat alive. You will always be considered one of us, our own, regardless of the colour of your passport. Also she admired the drive and said Swachh Bharat campaign for cleanliness has become a mass movement.
Govt’s Make in India initiative indicates our commitment to turn India into a manufacturing hub.
Swachch Bharat movement, Make in India prog, Digital India Initiative for which young pravasis can contribute, she added.
