Today it is likely that Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will resign this morning. He is proceeding to Delhi and is likely to become Defence Minister in an expansion of the Narendra Modi cabinet likely on Sunday. Goa’s 21 legislators of the ruling party BJP are meeting this morning to elect Mr Parrikar’s replacement, Goa’s Speaker Rajendra Arlekar told.
