On February 1 , 2025 in Fatehpura of Dahod district a lady was harassed and dragged half-naked by her own in-laws on streets. A tribal lady was brutally beaten and paraded naked over an alleged affair. Twelve people arrested by police.
In an exemplary job by unit of Dahod Police, Gujarat Police arrested the family members and helped the lady start a fruit shop. Even the advance rent was paid. Lady was facilitated to lead a respectable life. CCTV cameras were installed to ensure her safety and no repeatition of harassment again.
Hope with this very positive gesture of Police, full of humanity and compassion scares of victim lady would be healed slowly.
