December 5 today BJP Bharatiya Janta Party leader Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the chief minister of Maharashtra for the third term at historic Azad Maidan in Mumbai. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and top BJP leaders including Amit Shah, JP Nadda were present at the ceremony.
Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and NCP Nationalist Congress Party leader Ajit Pawar also took the oath as deputy chief ministers. Bollywood celebs including Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, as well as business tycoons such as Mukesh Ambani, attended the function.
