VIDEO OF ANANDIBEN ADDRESSES AT JAMNAGAR GARIB KALYAN MELA
Today, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel inaugurated Garib Kalyan Mela at Jamnagar. Under this GKM benefits worth Rs 5.80 crores to 10,000 beneficiaries were awarded by Anandiben.
While speaking on the occasion, Anandiben talked of women empowerment and self-reliance. Towards this, during Navratri festival stalls will be set up for sale of home made lamps by women of Gujarat, Anandiben informed. She also added that in next 3 years all houses will have their own toilets. Anandiben further said that Garib Kalyan Melas are meant for upliftment of Garibs (poor).
This GKM was out of seventh GKM in a row.
