Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in brainstorming program ‘Jalsanchaya-Janabhagidari-Janan Andolan: Karmabhoomi Thi Janambhoomi’ organized in Surat in presence of dignitaries including Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Central and State Ministers.
Chief Minister Patel said that under tvisionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, campaigns like water conservation have become meaningful. He described mutual cooperation of government and society as an important aspect to achieve the concept of water conservation. Outlining various water conservation initiatives and plans across the state, CM expressed his determination to complete the government’s target of setting up more than 2 lakh rainwater harvesting structures with public participation.
