He surpasses his India team-colleague R Ashwin – the Player of the Series against Bangladesh – at the top of the rankings. India also have a big mover on the Test batting rankings, with Player of the Match from the Kanpur Test, Yashasvi Jaiswal, moving to third after just 11 Tests.
