Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel visited Ambardi Safari Park in Amreli

CM watched  Asiatic Lion’s forest migration and activities of Interpretation Center

Gir Forest department near Dhari in the eastern area has  opened  Ambardi Safari Park for tourists since 2017

Today Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Ambardi Safari Park in Amreli district and was thrilled to watching Asiatic Lion roaming in the forest. In a day Chief Minister launched 77 different development works worth Rs. 272 crores in Amreli district. As a part of the visit, the Chief Minister visited Ambardi Safari Park in afternoon. The Park is built on 365 hectares by  Forest Department in the typical hilly area of ​​Eastern Gir. Apart from Devalia Safari Park in Sasangir area, this safari park is an important lion sighting center for domestic and foreign tourists coming for Lion watchting.

Known as the Interpretation Zone, this safari park is also an attraction for the Asiatic Lion and various types of wild birds like Zarkh, Chital, Chinkara and Antelope. Apart from this, in the park, various birds like Shwetanayana, Rajalal, Bulbul, Latora, Chakarkhora and Pheasants and birds of prey like vultures, vultures and honey falcons are also seen flying freely in the sky.

Also buffaloes, pythons, chameleons and other reptiles make this area truly biodiverse. Chief Minister Patel during his visit to the Interpretation Center in Ambardi viewed Digital Presentation of the saga from the emergence of the Lion to the present expansion in Gir. Details of the activities of the Sambhar Breeding Center and the Rescue and Rehabilitation Center for wild animals were obtained. After that, CM also got experience of watching the Asiatic Lion’s forest migration along with the natural beauty on the route for tourists coming to Ambardi Safari Park. This Ambardi Safari Park has been opened for tourists since 2017 by the forest department of Gujarat government.

The park also has tourism development facilities like Food Court, various Selfie Points, Waiting Lounge and ample Parking space. Chief Minister was accompanied by Deputy Conservator of Forest Rajdeep Singh Jhala and forest officials in this visit to Ambardi Safari Park and he was provided necessary details.
