Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel reviews Rescue & Relief Operations in state after heavy rain

Today Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a video conference from SEOC State Emergency Operation Center for the third day in a row to review Rescue and Relief Operations of rain-affected areas and situation of rainwater and especially prioritized the relief operations for the people trapped in water in Vadodara city and Devbhoomi Dwarka and Jamnagar districts. Urged to give.

In this direction, Chief Minister  Patel said that it is priority of the state government to provide food packets, drinking water pouches and healthcare medicines to the flood victims. Not only this, affected districts where power supply has been disrupted are also being promptly restored. CM gave suggestions for removing the bushes, leaves that have fallen with the sediment, soil, water and preventing spread of the disease by spraying pesticides on war footing and making suggestions for quick recovery of public life from tomorrow Thursday morning.

He also directed to immediately take up payment of cashdols and household assistance in all the rain-affected districts. Patel urged  District Collectors to coordinate rescue arrangements with the help of NDRF, Army, Air Force, Coast Guard teams. Also, charitable organizations, voluntary organizations etc. were also given  necessary instruction to prepare food packets and distribution of the necessary food materials for delivery to rain affected people.
