8 Corporation and Municipal Corporation of Gujarat generate revenue of Rs 25 crores till 2 pm today.
AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation collected Rs 6.75 crores, VMC Vadodara Municipal Corporation collected Rs 1.50 crores, Jamnagar Cororation collected Rs 60 lakhs, RMC Rajkot Municipal Corporation collected Rs 1.92 crores and Gandhinagar Corporation collected Rs 17 lakhs towards Tax Collection.
All the Corporation and Municipal Corporations collected old currency notes of Rs 500 and 1000.
Ahmedabad Mayor Gautam Shah made announcement of accepting old currency notes of Rs 500 and 1000 by AMC.
