From now onward Hospitalized patients will not feel effect of heat wave, 70 air coolers have been installed in Civil Hospital of Ahmedabad. Due to scorching heat in the state, people have cried out. Special arrangements hves been made for patients coming to the Civil Hospital. In view of prevailing heat wave situation in the state, an important decision has been taken by the Civil Hospital management towards patients facilitation. In Non-AC ward of the Hospital arrangements have been made to install air coolers in the ward. Proper utlilisation of AC and unused space in Civil Hospital and 1200 Bed Hospital has been planned by the management. Civil Superintendent Dr. Rakesh Joshi said that especially all patients including children and elderly admitted to the hospital have been covered so that they do not have to face problem of heat. Children were shifted to O-5 ICU ward of 1200 bed hospital. All patients of Gyneac Department have been shifted to D-4 and D-5 wards and air coolers were installed.
In OPD four air coolers have been installed in Waiting Lounge, which has sitting space within the department. Two coolers each have been installed in Unclaimed Body Ward and in all wards of old Civil Hospital. Also in TB ward four coolers have been installed.
