In Case of tragic fire incident at Uday Shivananda Covid Hospital in Rajkot which took place last night. The primary reason is that the fire was caused by a shot circuit in the machinery on the second floor of the hospital. The fire has killed 6 patients. In ICU ward, 4 out of 11 patients were rescued while 6 died.
Five patients named Ramsinh Bhai, Nitinbhai Badani and Rashiklal Agrawat, Keshubhai Akbari and Sanjaybhai Rathod died. All necessary documents including fire safety equipment and fire NOC has been obtained stated Municipal Commissioner Udit Agrawal.
